3 kg of crystal meth recovered from drug traffickers at Peshawar airport


PESHAWAR: The Anti-Narcotics Forces (ANF) team claimed on Friday they caught at least one man at Bacha Khan International Airport trying to smuggle three kilograms of crystal meth (or ICE) into the Middle East , ARY News reported.

The man was boarding an international flight to the United Arab Emirates (UAE) with the crystal methamphetamine packet when drug monitoring officials arrested him.

Sources inside ANF said the man was in custody and an investigation into his connections and parts is underway.

Separately yesterday from Karachi, Keamari police arrested a gang of three drug traffickers including women in Karachi while transporting narcotics from Balochistan.

Police claimed to have arrested a gang of three drug traffickers in Karachi. It was learned that a man and two women belonging to the same family were transporting drugs on motorbikes from Balochistan province.

Chief Superintendent of Police (SSP) Keamari told media that 17 kilograms of hashish recovered from the possession of suspected drug traffickers. Anti-narcotics case registered act against the accused, he added.
