Mumbai / IBNS: Bollywood actor Shah Rukh KhanAryan Khan’s son appealed to the Bombay High Court to change the conditions for a weekly visit to the Narcotics Control Bureau (BCN) as part of a bail condition in the cruise drug case.
Aryan Khan’s request was aimed at lifting the condition that he must appear before the drug agency’s South Mumbai office every Friday.
As the investigation into the case has now been transferred to a special investigation team from NCB Delhi, the condition for him to report to the Mumbai office could be relaxed, according to the plea.
The app also stated that he had to be accompanied by police personnel whenever he visited the NCB office due to the presence of a large number of media waiting outside.
The claim is expected to be heard by the High Court next week, according to reports.
Aryan Khan was released from Arthur Road Prison on October 30, 28 days after being held by BCN in the cruise drug case.
The Bombay High Court then listed 14 conditions for his release on bail, stating that Aryan could not leave Mumbai without notifying the police and was to appear before the NCB every Friday.
Aryan was arrested following a BCN raid at a party on a cruise ship on October 2. He was “charged number 1” in the cruise drug case in which a total of 20 people were arrested.
