Bacolod cops arrest 3 suspects and seize P136-K shabu

THE CITY OF BACOLOD – Anti-drug officers from the Bacolod Town Police Bureau (BCPO) arrested three suspects and confiscated PHP 136,000 from shabu in two separate purchases on Saturday evening, according to information released on Sunday.

At around 11:15 p.m., Krisha Agsam, 41; and Dennis Selobo, 43, both Street Level Individuals (SLI), received a collar at their accommodation on Burgos Street in Barangay 19.

They sold for PHP 500 of suspected shabu to a buyer positor during the operation carried out by staff of the City Drug Enforcement Unit.

The two suspects delivered five sachets of shabu weighing around 16 grams and estimated to be worth PHP 108,800.

Agsam and Selobo are now being held in the detention center at Police Station 4.

About four hours earlier, officers from Police Station 7 arrested John Paul Alferez near his residence in Barangay Vista Alegre.

Also identified as an SLI, Alferez, 27, sold the prohibited substance for PHP 500 to an undercover police officer around 7:30 p.m.

Officers seized from the suspect 12 sachets of shabu weighing approximately four grams with a standard price of PHP 27,200 and PHP 270 in cash.

The suspect is currently being held at Police Station 7.

In a statement, Colonel Manuel Placido, director of the BCPO, congratulated the operational units and reminded them to always be motivated to put an end to all forms of crime in the city. (ANP)
