According to Cavallo, “Participation in National Disconnection Day is open to anyone who wants to prioritize a human-centered offline connection. on digital connectivity. “ Emerging from a two-year period of almost constant screen fatigue, travel and gathering restrictions, coupled with a reliance on devices for social interactions, Cavallo’s hope for 2022 is a pivot. to many other “disconnected” experiences, not just in one day but throughout the year.

For over a decade, National disconnection day has inspired thousands of parents, schools, communities, faith-based organizations and businesses around the world to use its platform and free event and activity resources at without device for one to 24 hours and adopt a healthy balance with the use of technology in their daily life.

This year’s National Disconnect Day (# NDU2022) focuses on three main initiatives that can all be done safely, independently or in small groups:
