Mangaluru: Srinivas University NSS Unit Conducts Malaria and Dengue Awareness Campaign

Mangaluru, May 31: Srinivas University Institute of Management and Commerce, Pandeshwar, Mangaluru The BBA-NSS Unit organized a two-day Malaria and Dengue Fever awareness campaign on 23-24 May. BBA Unit NSS Officer and BBA Honors Coordinating Professor AK Aneesh led the students of various specializations forming separate teams and distributed pamphlets and posters in and around the city and educated the general public about the dangers of water stagnation which could lead to the breeding of flies and mosquitoes.

Various faculty coordinators along with approximately 200 student teams visited homes, shops and restaurants in and around the city to raise awareness about vector-borne diseases and mosquito breeding sources and distributed flyers. Professor Keerthan Raj, Dean of the Institute of Management and Business at Srinivas University, moderated the campaign.

BBA programs at Srinivas Pandeshwar University comes with various industrial specializations such as Dual Honors Honors, Logistics and Supply Chain Management, Ports, Shipping and Logistics Management and hospital administration. The program also includes a business internship program during the last semester, combined with on-the-job activities within the framework of employability, NSS and entrepreneurial skills.
