Company donates $ 10,000 to struggling athletes

The Challenged Athletes Foundation of San Diego recently received a donation of $ 10,000 from BJA Partners, an insurance company in the area, as part of the “Make More Happen” awards. The rewards program is sponsored by Liberty Mutual and Safeco Insurance. CAF provides opportunities and support for people with physical difficulties so that they can pursue an active lifestyle. The $ 10,000 donation will help children with disabilities by providing equipment such as prosthetic legs, adapted wheelchairs or specialized supervision to relearn how to walk or run. BJA Partners initially received a donation of $ 5,000 and had the opportunity to raise an additional $ 5,000 by running a local awareness campaign for the association. The goal was met, increasing the donation to $ 10,000. Throughout 2021, Liberty Mutual and Safeco Insurance will select 34 independent agents nationwide for the Make More Happen Awards. In July, Mainline Insurance Services of San Diego donated its $ 10,000 Make More Happen Award to Big Table, which helps San Diego restaurant and hospitality workers in need.
