Provisional prison for three police officers from Cadiz who collaborated with drug traffickers

Three police officers from Cadiz who collaborated with drug traffickers were sentenced to provisional prison terms.

A judge ordered provisional prison for three officers of the Civil Guard, two active and one retired, who were arrested for their connection with drug trafficking networks in the province of Cadiz.

Judicial sources have reported that the three officers are presumed guilty of public health offenses, accepting bribes and belonging to a criminal organization or group.

Friday, December 17, the judge ordered their imprisonment in provisional prison, with visiting rights and without bail. The police were arrested in Algeciras, Ceuta and Chiclana de la Frontera.

The officer arrested in Ceuta was part of the judicial police of the Guardia Civil.

According to the investigation carried out, the three officers of the Guardia Civil would have collaborated with a network of drug traffickers, warning them of the agents of the Guardia Civil who could affect them.

the Special anti-drug prosecutor had previously ordered their sending to prison all three and this Saturday it was ratified.
