Soleil Moon Frye and Punky Brewster star talk career and battling meningitis

BATON ROUGE, La. (WAFB) — Soleil Moon Frye is an actress, director, writer, and mother of four who many may know from the popular 1980s sitcom, Punky Brewster, who is currently starring in the Disney animated series reboot The proud family: stronger and prouder on Disney+.

In the wake of his recent Child90 documentary and reconnecting to her teenage years, Soleil is also raising her own teenagers, including her eldest daughter, Poet, who just turned 16. As she prepares for her next phase of growth, Poet reflects on her career aspirations and potential plans for college and independence.
