The central area TPS Tamil Nadu and Puducherry is organizing a special campaign every fortnight for the liquidation of pending cases of verifications concerning “exporters at risk” and their suppliers from 6 December. This special campaign will take place in the Coimbatore Police Station, including all divisional offices. located in Coimbatore, Coonoor, Pollachi and Tiruppur.
A press release from ARS Kumar, Senior Commissioner, Coimbatore CGST and Central Excise, said the ministry has applied strict risk parameters with respect to certain exporters classified as “risk exporters”. Their IGST refunds are blocked and their export consignments are subject to 100% control in different customs units. Thus, many commercial organizations / taxpayers have brought to the attention of the Chief Commissioner of CGST Tamilnadu & Puducherry, the difficulties encountered by exporters in obtaining reimbursements on time.
In order to ensure that refunds are not delayed to genuine exporters due to the verification process, the Chief Commissioner of CGST Tamil Nadu and Puducherry, ordered the commissioners under CGST Tamil Nadu and Puducherry area to ‘organize the special campaign. All exporters and suppliers of exporters against whom verifications are pending must submit the required documents and complete the verifications.
Pension Adalat on December 10
The regional office of the Employee Provident Fund will host PF Near You and Pension Adalat on December 10 through a webinar. National Silk Exhibition

Artificial limbs distributed
On Friday, a total of 50 beneficiaries with different disabilities received artificial limbs free of charge as part of the Chief Minister’s Comprehensive Health Insurance Plan at Coimbatore Medical College Hospital. According to Dean A. Nirmala, the artificial limbs were provided to the Institute of Orthopedics and Trauma to mark the International Day of Persons with Disabilities.

AIDS awareness campaign
The National Model High School held a “Health Education and AIDS Awareness Campaign” to mark World AIDS Day. A statement said about 350 students in grades VII, IX and XI attended the event and that pediatricians Jeyashree Ashwat and Usha Elango spoke to students about the biological changes that occur during adolescence.
